DESCRIPTION:Project Lemonade helps youth in foster care thrive through programs including the Project Lemonade store\, internships\, programs for teens aging out of care\, and funding opportunities to help youth pursue their dreams. \nWhat will CISV volunteers do? \nWe’ll be making homemade blankets\, self-care kits for foster youth\, working in the Project Lemonade store\, and helping with other projects as needed. It’s going to be a great time! We have limited spots for this volunteer date so we will be filling the 10 places first-come\, first-served. This program is for youth ages 13+ \nWe are asking that everyone bring a few things to donate to the foster youth. SUMMARY:Virtual Info Session about Moda Center Fundraising
DESCRIPTION:CISV Portland has an incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Rose Quarter/Moda Center selling concessions for events. This has the possibility to be a game-changer (pun intended) for our chapter’s hosting fund.\n\n\n\n\nTo make this successful\, we need a pool of at least approximately 20 volunteers to commit to:\n\nParticipating in  training session at the Moda Center (date/time TBD)\nObtaining food handler’s card (ages16+) and OLCC alcohol service permit (ages 18+) (CISV Portland will reimburse you)\nPurchasing specific food service attire (CISV Portland will reimburse)\nCommit to volunteering at one event every 1-3 months (dependent on total number of volunteers in the pool).
