SUMMARY:Virtual Info Session about Moda Center Fundraising
DESCRIPTION:CISV Portland has an incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Rose Quarter/Moda Center selling concessions for events. This has the possibility to be a game-changer (pun intended) for our chapter’s hosting fund.\n\n\n\n\nTo make this successful\, we need a pool of at least approximately 20 volunteers to commit to:\n\nParticipating in  training session at the Moda Center (date/time TBD)\nObtaining food handler’s card (ages16+) and OLCC alcohol service permit (ages 18+) (CISV Portland will reimburse you)\nPurchasing specific food service attire (CISV Portland will reimburse)\nCommit to volunteering at one event every 1-3 months (dependent on total number of volunteers in the pool). Volunteer commitment at each event lasts 5-7 hours.\n\nAnyone 16 or older can participate\, however\, there has to be at minimum a 2:1 ratio between adults and youth  because 16-17 year olds are limited in what they can do at the concession stand.\n\n\n\nThere will be a virtual information session on Thursday\, January 22nd at 7:00 pm to explain more about the program and what’s involved\, including getting the permit/card\, the attire\, and the training.\n\nRegister Now\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease read the Moda 2025-2026 Guidebook to get a complete picture of what volunteering looks like.\n\nYou may complete the below sign-up for all people in your family that are interested (i.e. one sign-up per family)\n\nThank you all for your interest and commitment for growing our chapter!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSign up for our newsletter to get the latest updates >
